Aesthetic and elegant : The exterior of the Audi A8 L

Clearly larger : The length and wheelbase of the new Audi A8 L are longer by 130 millimetres, respectively, compared to the standard version, which means more leg room and relaxation for. These two dimensions have increased to 5,267 and 3,122 millimetres, respectively; the vehicle’s width remains unchanged at 1,949 millimetres, while its height has risen by 2 to 1,462 millimetres. The large rear doors enable the occupants to enter the vehicle easily – and you can buckle up comfortably.The optional panoramic glass roof’s two sections suffuse the interior with plenty of sunlight. Both halves of the glass roof can be elevated; the front half can also be opened considerably. Both pieces of glass can be shaded by means of blinds.

Wider rear doors make getting in and out effortless; the roominess is downright opulent. Two electrically adjustable individual seats render the vehicle’s rear more luxurious still. Passengers can set them to be heated and cooled − among many possible settings. The craftsmanship is first-class in the A8 L: from the refined ambient lighting to the perfectly positioned and finely calibrated pushbuttons. The interior impresses with its slender and discreet styling as well as stylish materials − the look is altogether modern.

Audi TFSI® engines attain a particularly high compression rate. The result: outstanding efficiency combined with optimum performance. Substituting supercharging for cubic capacity has the effect of considerably reducing engine size and weight.

A8 L 4.0 TFSI® quattro®: Like many other Audi engines, the 4.0-litre V8 engine in the Audi A8 L uses FSI® technology in combination with turbocharging. The Audi TFSI® engines offer outstanding efficiency and improved performance whilst at the same time retaining their dynamism. The 4.0 TFSI® quattro® in the new Audi A8L has a power output of 309 kW and a peak torque of 600 Nm, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

Power plus efficiency The TDI® engines of the A8 L


A8 L 3.0 TDI® quattro®: The Audi R10 TDI® won the 24 h race at Le Mans – the first diesel powered racing car to do so. It was able to repeat this victory on several occasions. An engine with winner’s genes awaits you in the new Audi A8 L.

For example, the 3.0 TDI® power unit with 184 kW; it’s got plenty of pulling power and it goes without saying that it works with the intelligent Common Rail technology. Of course, efficiency does not exclude driving enjoyment: With the hefty 580 Nm of torque, you can accelerate your A8 L from 0 to 100 km in 6.2 seconds.
